Our swim lessons and swim team season has come to an end!  Except for Mommy and Me, which will be held next Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday at 11:30 am!  What a whirlwind of activity the pool has been in the early morning hours!  The Board of Directors would like to take this opportunity to thank Swim Director Emily Coleman for the wonderful job she did for the swim lesson program and coaching the BBT Dolphins swim team.

Thank you to all the swim lesson instructors and the helpers for making the swim lessons a fun, learning experience.  And for being great instructors!  Providing swim lessons to our youngsters is the best way to ensure water safety for our pool for the immediate future and beyond.  If you are a newer member to BBT and are interested in swimming lessons for your children, information regarding next year will come via email in April/May of 2022.  

Congratulations to Coach Emily and her assistant coaches, Samantha Fritter and Maddie Naleski, for a wonderful swim team season!  We had 140 children participate in the swim team this year.  It was a fun season and the children made new friends and had a great team experience! Thank you to all the parents who volunteered at the meets.  It takes more than a village to put on a successful swim meet! 

Yesterday was the All Star Meet and Coach Emily is very proud of our All-Star swimmers, they had an incredible showing at the meet!  Many of the swimmers swam their best times.  We had top 5 swimmers in 9 events!  We had our first All-Star 1st place champion since 2014!  Ryan Meledick is the 11/12 50m butterfly PMSL All-Star Champion of 2021! Congratulations Ryan, you earned it!  Thomas Zurowski also broke the BBT team record for the second time during All-Stars in the 9/10, 50m free event.  Congrats to all our All Stars!

The Board would also like to thank the pool managers and lifeguards for always making sure the pool was open on time and the facility was ready to go for the swim lessons, swim team practice, swim team meets and swim team special activities.  Great job everyone!
